How can I join UXPH?
UXPH is open to everyone. You can get involved by attending our events, volunteering, or joining our community programs. Follow us on social media and sign up for our newsletter to stay updated.

What kind of events does UXPH host?
We host meetups, workshops, conferences, and webinars that explore UX, design, tech, research, and innovation—open to beginners and professionals of all backgrounds and levels.

What are UXPH events like?
Our events are a mix of learning and connection. Expect talks, panels, hands-on activities, and lots of opportunities to meet people across disciplines. Events may be in-person or online and are usually hosted with the support of our partners.

When and where do you host events?
We hold events throughout the year across Metro Manila and beyond. Details are posted on our socials, website, and newsletter.

Do I need to pay to attend?
UXPH community events require an RSVP and may require a small entrance fee to help cover basic event costs. Conferences and special programs are ticketed unless otherwise stated.

What's included in an event?
You can always expect to learn something new and network with some friendly faces at a UXPH event. Some events include snacks or swag depending on our sponsors, but it’s not guaranteed. Come for the learning and community—everything else is a bonus!

Can I just walk in or bring a friend to a UXPH event?
No. Due to venue and security protocols, advance registration per attendee is required unless otherwise stated. Please RSVP through the official link for each event.

Do you provide certificates for attending UXPH events?
Certificates are only provided for our paid conferences and training programs. Standard community meetups do not include certificates, unless otherwise stated.

👥 Membership & Volunteering

Who can join the UXPH team?
Anyone is welcome to apply and volunteer! We're purely volunteer-run and welcome students, professionals, career-shifters, and anyone passionate about design, tech, and community building. The organizing team values individuals who are active, committed, love to challenge and grow their skillsets, and work well in teams. If that sounds like you, please get in touch!

How do I become a UXPH volunteer?
To be an organizing member or an event volunteer, please fill out the Volunteer Form and follow the instructions after you apply.

How much time do I need to commit as a volunteer?
It depends. Event volunteers typically contribute 5–6 hours per event. Team leads and coordinators commit more regularly depending on their role and availability. We typically ask for a minimum commitment of 1 quarter a year.

How can I be a speaker or workshop facilitator for UXPH?
UXPH is always looking for enthusiastic people who want to share their knowledge with the rest of the community. Please fill out the Speakers Form and we'll get in touch.

Are UXPH speakers paid?
UXPH talks and workshops are considered volunteer contributions for the community. Depending on the event, there may be food, giveaways, and tokens for your contributions. For major conferences, we cover meals and some speaker costs.

When and where is the UXPH conference?
UXPH holds major conferences and regional events periodically. Stay tuned to our website and socials for dates and ticket details, which may vary per location.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Tickets to paid events are not refundable but are transferable. Transfers must be made at least 24 hours before the event starts. Contact us to coordinate this.

What's the difference between a partner and sponsor of UXPH?
‍Community Partners are organizations (often schools, NGOs, or advocacy groups) that collaborate with us through shared resources or volunteers.‍

Sponsors are companies or brands that support us financially or through in-kind support in exchange for visibility and access to our design community.‍

Yes. We follow and enforce our Code of Conduct throughout all our events and community initiatives.
