Becoming a volunteer in UXPH was one of the best decisions that I made. UXPH gave me a lot of learning opportunities and resources that can be helpful in my future career. The leads, advisors, and other volunteers are very hands-on in sharing their knowledge with us. Overall, I am thankful in being part of this community! :D
It was in volunteering with my particular role that I realize what I actually really wanted to do. While it's not the same with the title I hold now, but UXPH helped me identify what I really liked doing the most!

I love volunteering for UXPH! Even though it's my first time to help organize a conference things went smoothly and organized so everyone had tasks to do, so I didn't feel overwhelmed. One important thing that I learned from this year's UXPH event, is that in order for a UX Designer to be effective, empathy should be a driving factor to your decision-making process, and having empathy means breaking your own mental model, so you should be much more open to every social and cultural possibilities of uniqueness, and be an effective advocate of change.
Just wanted to send you a quick note to thank the UXPH for having me at your conference. It was an honour to speak at your event, and hope to see you again for next years! The UXPH team ran an incredibly smooth event and the speaker experience was extremely streamlined and easy. This is one of the most well run events I have ever attended/spoken at. Huge thanks!
